2026 RMH Partner Conference: Built Together

Bringing the retail technology ecosystem together to solve problems and create opportunities.

Solution providers, independent developers, and technology partners came together in Atlanta for the 8th RMH Partner Conference to share what they're working on and talk through how to serve retailers better. Much of the attention went to what partners are building on the platform and bringing to the rest of the community, solutions that other partners can put to work.

RMH CEO, Jeff Riley, opened the conference with his State of the Union. He talked about how much retail has changed in the last few years. Costs keep rising, good staff is hard to find, customers shop differently, and AI is turning up everywhere from the back office to how shoppers find products. His advice to partners was simple: stay close to your customers, be curious about their business, and make yourself someone they can't do without.

Jeff also described the RMH partner community as a "mesh network of independent entrepreneurs." The rest of the week showed what he meant.

The RMH development team gave updates on current work and explained how they're methodically building a development and QA foundation with AI.

AI, Sales, and Marketing

AI came up in nearly every session. Topics ranged from writing and testing code to partner applications and running a business day to day. On the final morning, Greg Buzek of IHL Services gave the keynote, AI in Retail, which looked at where AI is actually paying off for retailers and solution providers. One example that got people's attention was using information from sales conversations to help put proposals together.

Sales and marketing sessions brought the discussion back to building a partner business. They covered lead generation, referrals, choosing a specialty, and taking good care of the customers you already have. None of that requires new technology, but AI can take some of the work off your plate.

Partner Solutions Addressing Retail Needs

The ISV Solutions Parade showed solutions built around specific retail problems:

  • POS Unlimited showcased RMH Coupon Plus, including coupon creation, barcode generation, redemption rules at the POS, and reporting across RMH Central and Store.
  • Big Bang Retail Solutions demonstrated its Pet Shop Solution for RMH, with Astro Loyalty integration, email marketing integrations, and a promotion and ordering dashboard.
  • Simple POS Solutions presented Simple WO, which sends customers updates by text or email from the POS, and RMH Connect, which delivers RMH reports to a browser or inbox.
  • MCS Multi Computer Solutions showed a utility that helps comic shops clean up duplicate item records left behind after the industry's main distributor closed.
  • Falcons Nest Business Solutions presented Simple CRM and Advanced Customer Management, which keeps duplicate customer records from being created.
  • Advantage Solutions demonstrated RMHiPOS for mobile selling, stock takes, and delivery.
  • Zoined presented analytics features, including an AI data analyst and sales forecasting.
  • x2x eCommerce covered connections to Shopify, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • TimeForge presented labor management for multi-location retailers.

Xpertwise, Platinum Age, Dynamics Plus, and STG also presented during the parade.

Many of these started with a single retailer's problem. After someone builds a fix, other partners can offer it to their own customers. Partners in Atlanta were open about sharing what they've built. When a customer brings you a new requirement, knowing what others have built gives you another place to start.

More Than Software

Retailers don't see their POS as just a piece of software. The software, payments, hardware, and integrations all have to work together, and someone has to install and support all of it.

Partners bring different specialties and work with others to fill the gaps. Atlanta was a good place to meet the people who handle the pieces you don't.

Not Everything Needs a Slide Deck

Some of the best conversations happened away from the main stage. They happened at the Tuesday welcome reception, over dinner on awards night, and at the closing reception before everyone left for the airport. Old friends caught up, people met for the first time, and there were plenty of laughs. We talk a lot about AI and integrations at these events, but the people are why most of us keep coming back.
